ABOUT

Hi, I’m Fede (she/they),  I'm anartist, cook, and facilitator. I create interactive installations, workshops, and cultural projects that explore our relationship with society and culture. My work bridges political engagement and art, blending the personal with the collective to spark meaningful dialogue and action.

Born in Turin, Italy, in 1991, I studied Philosophy at the University of Turin and Freie Universität Berlin before earning a Master’s degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Leiden University in the Netherlands.

My practice is rooted in participation, dialogue, and the exploration of communal experiences. I create spaces for interaction—whether through shared meals, collective storytelling, or collaborative soundscapes—where participants actively engage in shaping the work. My projects often question traditional boundaries, inviting audiences to rethink the ways in which we relate to one another, to language, and to everyday objects.

Working across performance, sound, and installation, I am interested in the ephemeral moments that emerge when people come together. My work embraces unpredictability, allowing for multiple narratives to coexist. In participatory performances like Cooking Session or Speaking in Tongues, I investigate notions of hospitality, translation, and collective knowledge, encouraging new ways of listening and understanding.

Currently based in Brussels, I just finished setting up a neighbourhood kitchen in collaboration with La Ferme du Chant des Cailles, an urban farm in Watermael-Boitsfort. Currently, I’m focusing on deepening my understanding of the full food cycle—from production to cooking, sharing, and teaching—laying the groundwork for the next phase of my culinary and artistic practice. Stay tuned!
